Heck no you wouldn’t (unless maybe you are from New York City) because you cannot work on the engine. So why build a house with no access to bath tub plumbing fixtures (they will break eventually) ? I know there are certain instances where you cannot build an access, but if you can and make it look OK then do it. One of the bathtubs can be accessed from a closet so that is a no brainier, who cares what is in a closet. Just install a wall panel with screws and you have easy access. In the master bedroom (see pic) we screwed a section of boards up and will just put a piece of trim to cover the screws. No one will ever know except the owner unless the tenants are there when a repair is made.
